Le Golf of Saint-Nom-la-Bretèche is a Grand Private Club of western Paris. By two world-class 18-hole courses, training areas, a swimming pool, a multisport field and a children's house. History
The golf courses were created little by little: in March 1959, the Blue course. Le Rouge would follow a year later. The courses: The Red and the Blue

Only half an hour from Paris, the Fourqueux golf course is located in a former royal estate in the heart of the forest of Marly-le-Roi. It is the ideal setting for playing golf and perfecting your swing in a natural and relaxing setting.
The Fourqueux golf course is a private 27-hole golf course. It welcomes outside players during the week on its narrow and wooded course. Both courses are fairly technical and will require golfers to take solid faceoffs and precise irons.
The Fourqueux golf course will seduce you with its calm, the quality of its greens and fairways and the diversity of tree species.
History and traditionsOn June 15, 1633, Louis XIII acquired the 75 hectare estate of Fourqueux to donate it to his doctor, Charles Bouvard. During the years that followed, the estate remained the property of the successors of the King's “tapper”.
In 1923, with the exception of Villa Colin and the 1.5 hectare land kept by Charles and Marie Marret, the area until then operated by a farmer, was leased to a circle to create a golf course. Léon Visinet, member of the Automobile Club d'Ile de France, presides over the creation of the Golf & Tennis Club of Marly & Fourqueux.
The course was officially inaugurated on October 29, 1924. The golf course hosted international championships and Arnaud Massy established a course record there. With the war, the Fourqueux golf course ceased its activity on May 1, 1940. During the war, the area was used by German forces. Then it becomes again a property intended for the breeding of race horses.
In 1959, the announced closure of a golf course located in the town of Marly led a group of players to search for a nearby site to recreate a golf course.The past and the beauty of the site appeal to the founding committee. The domain of Fourqueux is selected. On an area of 75 hectares, it was decided to revive a golf course by making 27 holes in a green setting. The course is designed by Lou Petitt and Hawtree is supervising the work. The ground is modeled. 26 trees and shrubs are planted. The golf course was inaugurated on May 000, 11.
A tree-lined course of great diversityThe course of Fourqueux is also traversed like an arboretum. Indeed, more than 50 species of conifers and 170 of deciduous trees can be spotted there. Native trees such as alders, chestnuts, oaks, ash and beeches inhabit the nearby forest of Marly. Trees established when the golf course was created and in the following years.
